ISLAMABAD: SSP Investigations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt led a meeting to discuss the progress of ongoing investigations into serious criminal cases. The meeting included SP Soan Zone and several investigation officers who are actively involved in handling these cases.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Investigations reviewed the current status of robbery and other serious crime cases. He instructed the officers to ensure that all pending cases are concluded based on merit. Emphasizing the importance of thorough documentation, he directed that challans should be submitted to the relevant courts with solid evidence to secure maximum convictions.
Further directives included ensuring the apprehension of absconding members of criminal gangs and executing maximum arrests of proclaimed offenders. The SSP reiterated the department’s commitment to safeguarding the life and property of citizens, stating that any negligence in this duty would not be tolerated.
