Islamabad: The Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has commended the nation’s security forces for their successful operation against five terrorists from the group Fitna Al-Khawarij in North Waziristan. This operation, conducted on the basis of intelligence, underscored the government’s commitment to maintaining national security.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Major Hafiz Ehsan Elahi Shaheed, who lost his life in the line of duty during the operation. The Speaker highlighted Major Elahi’s sacrifice as an enduring example of courage and devotion to the country, emphasizing that his bravery and selfless service will be remembered by the nation.

The Speaker extended his condolences to Major Elahi’s family, offering prayers for the martyr’s elevation in Jannah and for strength to his family during this difficult time. He reiterated that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces in the fight against terrorism are indelible, reinforcing the nation’s resolve against threats to its peace and security.
