ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, at the Parliament House on Monday to discuss matters of mutual interest, regional issues, and national austerity measures.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meeting saw Speaker Sadiq extend his good wishes to Senator Dar and commend Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in the Middle East. Senator Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to representing its stance globally and maintaining efforts for regional peace and stability.
The discussions also focused on the Prime Minister’s austerity drive. Senator Dar praised the National Assembly Secretariat’s measures as a positive development. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to efficiently utilize national resources.
