Islamabad: After an illustrious career spanning nearly four decades, Superintendent of Police Hakim Khan retired from the Islamabad Police, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated public service. A farewell ceremony in his honor was held at the Police Lines Headquarters, attended by senior officers and police personnel.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Counter-Terrorism Department, Hamza Humayun, served as the chief guest at the ceremony. He extended best wishes to SP Khan, commending his long-standing commitment to the police force.

SSP Humayun highlighted that retirement is an inevitable phase of a career, and each officer should strive to leave a positive legacy. He urged officers to focus on public service and character building throughout their careers.

During the ceremony, SSP Humayun emphasized the importance of gratitude, noting that the department has provided SP Khan with respect and dignity in return for his years of service. He encouraged officers to earn public trust and blessings through their work.

SP Khan’s career began in 1987 when he joined the Islamabad Police as an Assistant Sub-Inspector. Over the years, he took on various critical roles across different divisions, contributing significantly to the force.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of an honorary police shield to SP Khan, marking the end of a notable chapter in his professional life and the beginning of new endeavors.
