SP City Zone Enhances Church Security Measures in Islamabad

Islamabad: SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf actively engaged in field operations on Sunday, visiting multiple churches to review and enhance security protocols. He interacted with police personnel assigned to security duties, providing directives to strengthen safety measures.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, these actions align with the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Captain (R) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, who emphasized the importance of robust security at churches throughout the federal capital. SP Ashraf’s visits focused on assessing the security plan, including checks at entry and exit points, parking areas, and the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as evaluating police deployment effectiveness.

SP Ashraf reassured church administrations of the police’s commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of all religious communities without bias. He urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities through Pukar-15, the police helpline. He highlighted the importance of police-public collaboration in ensuring peace and order, underscoring the dedication and professionalism of the Islamabad Police in maintaining a secure environment. Protecting citizens and upholding the rule of law remain paramount priorities for the police force.
