Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the induction of 974 newly trained recruits into the Sindh Police, including 315 women, during the 132nd Passing-Out Parade at the Shahid Hayat Police Training College in Saeedabad. The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of a modern, professionally trained police force in maintaining peace and combating terrorism across the province.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the event was attended by high-ranking police officials and members of civil society, signifying the importance of the occasion. The recruits, who pledged loyalty to the Constitution and to public service, showcased their newly acquired skills through tactical demonstrations. Chief Minister Shah highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to improving police infrastructure and training, ensuring that the force is equipped to handle modern challenges.

Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho addressed the graduates, underscoring the importance of professionalism and integrity in gaining public trust. He also proposed upgrades to training facilities to enhance the quality of police education.

Principal SSP Adeel Chandio of the Shahid Hayat Police Training College detailed the institution’s achievements and ongoing needs, including improved infrastructure and modern equipment. The ceremony concluded with a group photograph, marking a new chapter in strengthening the Sindh Police’s capacity to address law-enforcement challenges.
