KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has extended an invitation to Shandong High-Speed Group Company Limited, a leading Chinese firm, to explore investment opportunities in the province’s infrastructure and public-private partnership (PPP) initiatives. This invitation underscores the provincial government’s focus on attracting foreign investment to stimulate economic growth.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the invitation was issued during a meeting at the Chief Minister House with a delegation led by Shandong High-Speed Group Chairman Zhu Xiang. The gathering, which included senior representatives from the Tabani Group and Sindh government officials, discussed potential collaborations in sectors such as roads, water treatment, and urban development. The Chief Minister emphasized Sindh’s investment potential and assured support for foreign investors interested in partnering with the provincial government.

The meeting provided a platform for Shandong High-Speed Group and the Tabani Group to express interest in Sindh’s development projects. Discussions highlighted potential investments in infrastructure such as transport and desalination plants. Both parties agreed to investigate further cooperation opportunities, with the Chinese delegation acknowledging Sindh’s favorable investment climate and expressing a strong commitment to future collaboration.
