Sukkur, In a significant meeting at the office of the DIG Sukkur, the Sindh Interior Minister and the Inspector General of Police met with the family of the late journalist John Muhammad Mehr, who was recently murdered.

According to Sindh Police, the Sindh Interior Minister expressed his condolences and praised Mehr’s contributions to journalism. He assured the journalist’s family of full support and cooperation in pursuing justice for Mehr. The Minister emphasized that efforts are underway to bring the accused to justice swiftly.

Further, Inspector General Ghulam Nabi Memon affirmed that the police are committed to ensuring justice for Mehr’s family promptly. The assurance comes amidst calls for accountability and the speedy resolution of cases involving harm to journalists, which have been a growing concern in the region.
