Karachi: Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri lauded the efforts of the Rotary Club of Pakistan for its commendable initiatives, particularly in addressing climate change and constructing Smart Villages for flood victims, which aim to alleviate their challenges.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri made these remarks during a reception at Governor House to honor the Rotary Club of Pakistan Corporate. He emphasized the importance of the Rotary community’s role in the province, commending their efforts in climate change, water and sanitation projects, tree plantation drives, and educational programs such as Rotaract and Interact. The governor also congratulated Mario Cesar Martins de Camargo on his election as Rotary International President and extended his best wishes.
The event concluded with the presentation of a shield and the installation of Rotary Club badges.
