Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori made a late-night visit to the National Stadium to witness the inaugural match of the Sindh Premier League (SPL), emphasizing the event’s role in promoting youth talent in the region.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori was warmly received by the SPL organizers. The opening match featured teams from Karachi Ghazi and Hyderabad Bahadur. In his media interaction, the Governor expressed his enthusiasm for the league’s start, highlighting its objective to spotlight the young talent of Sindh. He remarked that the SPL had already provided opportunities for thousands of youths in the region to showcase their abilities.
Governor Tesori stated that the SPL is a platform for discovering and nurturing the talent of Sindh, and he plans to attend the league’s closing ceremony as well. The Governor’s visit extended to Garawand, where he was greeted by citizens with patriotic slogans and enthusiasm. Many took the opportunity to interact and take selfies with him.
The Governor’s attendance and statements reflect the government’s support for sports initiatives like the SPL as a means of engaging and uplifting the youth of Sindh, fostering a sense of community and national pride.
