Lahore, Sikh Yatrees from India have expressed appreciation for the arrangements made by the Pakistan government for the 554th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Khushmindar Singh, the party leader of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Amritsar, shared their sentiments with newsmen, citing a special affinity for Pakistan as a reason for their repeated visits.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, around three thousand Sikh Yatrees arrived in Lahore from India via the Wagah Border to participate in the celebrations. During their 10-day stay in Pakistan, the pilgrims will visit various significant Gurdwaras, including Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Punja Sahib Hassanabdal, and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal. The main ceremony is scheduled to be held at Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib tomorrow.
