SIFC’s Green Pakistan Initiative Sparks Agricultural Revolution

Islamabad: The Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) Green Pakistan Initiative is leading a transformation in the agricultural sector, promising significant contributions to the country’s development. Various stakeholders have shown support for the initiative, highlighting its potential to modernize farming and enhance economic growth.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the initiative has garnered positive feedback from experts in different fields. President of Kisan Ittehad, Khalid Mehmood Khokhar, emphasized the initiative’s role in conserving water. He noted that the use of modern machinery under the Green Pakistan Initiative can save up to 80 percent of water compared to traditional farming techniques.

Raheel Asghar, CEO of Millat Tractor Limited, expressed optimism about the initiative’s impact on national prosperity and economic progress. He commended the efforts of Army Chief General Asim Munir and the government in implementing these measures.

Ahmed Bilal from Sapphire Farm Services Limited highlighted the use of drone technology in Cholistan as a means of reducing costs associated with labor, fertilizer, and pesticides, further supporting the initiative’s goals.
