Islamabad: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the World Bank engaged in discussions aimed at advancing reforms to enhance Pakistan’s business environment. The meeting focused on simplifying business regulations as part of the Ease of Doing Business framework and utilizing the Pakistan Business Portal to attract investment.
According to Radio Pakistan, the SIFC Secretary met with a World Bank delegation to explore strategies for streamlining regulatory processes, reducing compliance burdens, and facilitating business activities. The World Bank commended the SIFC’s comprehensive approach to these reforms and pledged ongoing cooperation.
The collaborative efforts are part of a broader initiative to improve the business climate in Pakistan, thereby encouraging both local and international investments.
