SIFC Advances Investment Efforts in Punjab’s Special Economic Zones

Lahore: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is advancing its initiatives to bolster investment in Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs), with noteworthy progress observed in Punjab. Thirty-four business applications have been approved, unlocking investment opportunities exceeding seventy-six billion rupees and potentially generating over seven thousand jobs across various sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, the recent approvals signal a significant push to process pending applications in Punjab’s SEZs. This progress is set to enhance employment opportunities in textiles, chemicals, agro-processing, and other industries, reflecting SIFC’s ongoing commitment to promoting economic development in the region.
