Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed appreciation for the United Arab Emirates’ enduring support for Pakistan’s socio-economic progress.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the UAE’s pivotal role in regional peace and stability during a meeting with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The leaders reiterated their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties, focusing on economic cooperation, trade, investment, and energy collaboration.
In addition, Prime Minister Sharif extended congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for the successful organization of the World Governments Summit 2025. Sharif underscored the significance of the event in elevating the UAE’s diplomatic influence both regionally and globally.
