Antalya: H.E. Massad Boulos, the Senior Advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump on Arab and African Affairs, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and regional stability.

According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister expressed his warm regards for President Trump and acknowledged his leadership in facilitating a ceasefire between Pakistan and India, which prevented potential conflict last year. The Prime Minister also praised Trump’s role in concluding the ceasefire in Lebanon.

Discussions during the meeting included regional developments, Pakistan’s peace initiatives, and the historic Islamabad Talks. The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of enhancing Pakistan-U.S. economic and trade cooperation and engaging in multilateral diplomacy on mutual interests.

Mr. Boulos conveyed greetings from President Trump and commended Pakistan’s efforts towards regional stability. He underlined the United States’ commitment to deepening its engagement with Pakistan in areas such as counter-terrorism and economic development. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, and SAPM Syed Tariq Fatemi.
