Baghdad: Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, serving as the Chief Whip in the Senate of Pakistan, met with the newly elected leadership of Iraq as the Special Envoy of President Asif Ali Zardari. The visit aimed to convey President Zardari’s personal messages to Iraq’s President Nizar Amidi and Prime Minister Ali Falih Khadim Al Zaidi, extending warm congratulations and reaffirming Pakistan’s intent to enhance its fraternal relations with Iraq.
According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Mandviwalla also held discussions with Haibat Hamad Abbas Al Halbousi, the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, and Dr. Mustafa Nizar Juma’a Al Ani, Iraq’s Minister of Trade. The talks focused on expanding bilateral cooperation across multiple areas, reflecting the commitment of both nations to deepen their collaborative efforts.
