Islamabad, The Senate Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue held a session today at Parliament House where Senator Saleem Mandviwalla was elected as chairman. The nomination came from Senator Sherry Rehman and was seconded by Senator Manzoor Ahmed Kakar.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Senator Mandviwalla expressed his commitment to addressing economic challenges and enhancing transparency within the committee. Despite his assurances, PTI Senators, including the Leader of Opposition Syed Shibli Faraz and Mohsin Aziz, staged a walkout due to their reservations about the process.
