ISLAMABAD: The House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate convened at the Parliament House on Thursday, where discussions centered on the legislative agenda for the 361st Session of the Senate. Chaired by Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, the committee laid out plans for addressing both legislative and critical national and international issues during the session, which is projected to run until May 22, 2026.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting saw participation from key Senate figures, including Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Leader of the Opposition Senator Saleem Mandviwala, and several other prominent senators. The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider were also in attendance. The Secretary Senate provided a comprehensive briefing on the legislative business scheduled for the session.
