Security Forces Neutralize Seven Terrorists in Operation Near Pakistan-Afghan Border

Rawalpindi, A significant operation by Pakistan’s security forces near the Afghan border in the Sambaza Sector, Zhob District, resulted in a firefight and the elimination of seven terrorists on January 22, 2024.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operation, based on intelligence reports, successfully cornered and engaged terrorists who were attempting to flee. The terrorists, who were actively involved in attacks against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians, were neutralized. The operation also led to the recovery of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the deceased terrorists.

A sanitization operation is currently underway in the area to root out any remaining terrorists. This action underscores the commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eradicate terrorism from the region and maintain national security.
