Security Forces Eliminate Seven Terrorists in Balochistan Operation


BARKHAN: Security forces in Balochistan have killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Nosham area of Barkhan District. The operation targeted members of the Indian-backed group Fitna Al Hindustan.



According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was conducted by troops from the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps Balochistan. It began with a sanitization effort aimed at eliminating the presence of the terrorist group in the region. The forces engaged the terrorists in a firefight, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the scene.



The operation was not without loss. Five members of the security forces, including a field officer, were killed during the engagement. The fallen soldiers were identified as Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti, Naik Fida Hussain, Sepoy Zakir Hussain, Sepoy Suhail Ahmed, and Sepoy Muhammad Ayaz.



Efforts to secure the region continue, with sanitization operations underway to remove any remaining threats. The ongoing counter-terrorism campaign, operating under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, aims to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
