North Waziristan: Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Razmak area of North Waziristan District, targeting members of the group Fitna Al Khwarij, an Indian proxy. The operation resulted in the deaths of five militants and the recovery of weapons and ammunition.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operation was prompted by reports of the presence of Khwarij militants in the region. During the operation, Major Hafiz Ihsan Elahi, a 34-year-old officer from District Mianwali, was killed. He was leading his troops in the operation and is remembered for his leadership and sacrifice.

The militants targeted in the operation were reportedly involved in numerous attacks against security forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians. Security forces have initiated a sanitization operation in the area to ensure no other militants remain. This effort is part of the larger Azm-e-Istehkam campaign, a counter-terrorism initiative approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eradicating terrorism from Pakistan. The campaign continues at full speed, with a commitment to protect the nation from foreign-sponsored threats.
