RAWALPINDI: Security forces in Pakistan are resolute in their mission to eliminate terrorism across the nation, announced Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during a media briefing in Rawalpindi. Addressing recent terrorist activities in Balochistan, Chaudhry emphasized the forces’ determination to pursue terrorists with clarity and resolve.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry highlighted that the group known as Fitna al-Hindustan is responsible for targeting civilians in Balochistan. In recent incidents, fifty-four members of the group were killed, while forty-two individuals, including civilians and members of the Balochistan Police, lost their lives. The Director General asserted that ongoing operations aim to completely eliminate terrorist threats, attributing the activities to adversaries like India and others who oppose Pakistan’s stability and prosperity.

Chaudhry further alleged that terrorists are operating from territories controlled by the Afghan Taliban, who are providing support and personnel. He emphasized that these elements are troubled by Pakistan’s plans to repatriate illegal Afghan nationals. Despite these challenges, Chaudhry reaffirmed the commitment of the armed forces to confront every terrorist and their supporters, underscoring their unwavering resolve to rid the country of terrorism.
