Quetta: Security forces in Balochistan have reportedly killed 21 terrorists affiliated with groups identified as Indian-sponsored proxies in two separate incidents across the region. The operations took place in Nokcha and Ziarat Cross, targeting members of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij.

According to Radio Pakistan, an attempt by Fitna al-Hindustan to extort commuters on the N-40 Quetta-Taftan Highway was thwarted by security forces, resulting in the deaths of eleven terrorists and the seizure of a significant amount of weapons and explosives. Later, a coordinated attack by Fitna al-Khawarij on the Customs House met with a similar response, leaving ten terrorists dead after an intense exchange of gunfire.

Both incidents underscore the ongoing threat posed by these groups, which authorities claim are aimed at destabilizing the region and facilitating criminal enterprises. The attack on the Customs House was described as part of a broader terror-crime nexus designed to disrupt lawful operations.

The clashes were not without cost, as six individuals, including two officers and a customs official, were killed in the line of duty. Their sacrifices are noted as part of the larger effort to maintain security and order in the region.

Sanitization operations are currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threats. These efforts are part of a broader counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, which remains a high priority for security forces and law enforcement agencies committed to eradicating terrorism in the nation.
