SCO Summit to Begin in Astana with a Focus on Regional Cooperation and Connectivity


Astana: The 24th Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Council of Heads of State is set to commence tomorrow in Astana, Kazakhstan, with a focus on deepening multifaceted cooperation and addressing key international and regional issues.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the summit will see discussions on the current state of cooperation among member countries and the signing of the Astana Declaration alongside other joint documents. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, representing Pakistan, will highlight the country’s perspective on crucial regional and global challenges, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to regional connectivity and cooperation within the SCO framework.
