Islamabad: The 4th meeting of the SCO Follow-up Committee convened in Islamabad today, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar presiding over the session. The committee assessed the preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming chairmanship of the SCO CHS and the CHS Summit, which will be hosted in Islamabad next year.
According to Radio Pakistan, sub-committees provided updates on progress related to the venue, accommodation, security, finance, media management, transport, and logistics for the delegations attending the SCO CHS Summit. Ishaq Dar instructed the relevant sub-committee heads to accelerate their efforts and emphasized the importance of executing the forum’s decisions. He reiterated the significance of the summit and urged all involved to consider it a national task.
