Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) ongoing role as a crucial platform for enhancing peace, security, and economic connectivity throughout Eurasia.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dar made these remarks during a ceremony celebrating the SCO’s Silver Jubilee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event, which featured a cake-cutting ceremony, was attended by resident ambassadors of the SCO member states in Pakistan.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism and extended congratulations to the SCO community on the organization’s 25th anniversary. He also expressed optimism about the SCO’s future contributions to regional cooperation and development.
