Bhopal, A Scheduled Caste woman was subjected to severe humiliation and physical abuse in Madhya Pradesh, India, where she was beaten and paraded naked by individuals from her own community in the village of Bachhora, Shivpuri district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the 30-year-old woman was forcefully removed from her home by four women, assaulted, and stripped in public, sparking widespread outrage after a video of the incident circulated online. The Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sunil Mehta reported that the victim is now taking refuge with her family, severely traumatized by the ordeal.

Eyewitness accounts and police statements reveal the brutality of the attack, during which the victim’s pleas for mercy were ignored. The incident’s public nature and its recording have intensified the victim’s distress.

Authorities have taken legal action against the four accused women, with investigations also focusing on those who recorded and disseminated the video of the assault. The case underscores ongoing issues of caste-based violence and the need for stringent measures to protect vulnerable communities.
