Islamabad, The Election Commission of Pakistan is set to conduct polling for thirty Senate seats on Tuesday, following the uncontested election of eighteen candidates in Balochistan and Punjab. The elections, crucial for determining the composition of the Senate, will take place in the National Assembly and the provincial assemblies of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Election Commission has completed all necessary preparations to facilitate the smooth conduct of these elections nationwide. In an effort to ensure transparency and order, the Commission has introduced ballot papers in four distinct colors corresponding to different categories of seats: white for general seats, green for technocrat seats, pink for women’s seats, and yellow for minority seats.
