Islamabad: The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt are set to arrive in Pakistan for a two-day visit starting Sunday, aiming to engage in discussions on the regional situation. The visit underscores the significance of diplomatic ties and shared interests among these nations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the visit comes at the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar. The Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, and Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, will participate in discussions with Pakistani officials during their stay in Islamabad.
The scheduled talks will cover a range of topics, focusing on efforts to reduce regional tensions. Additionally, the visiting foreign ministers are expected to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Pakistan views its relationships with Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt as highly significant. The visit is anticipated to provide an opportunity to enhance cooperation and coordination across various areas of mutual interest.
