Saudi-Based Falcon Vision Group Eyes USD 10 Billion Investment in Pakistan: BOI Minister Ensures Support


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI), Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, held a meeting with a delegation of business leaders and media professionals to discuss potential investment opportunities in Pakistan. The meeting aimed to explore investment across various sectors, with a significant focus on attracting foreign direct investment from Saudi-based Falcon Vision Group.



According to Press Information Department, the delegation included representatives like Rasheed Khan Niazi, Muhammad Tariq Ghous of Falcon Vision Company, and other business professionals with interests in infrastructure and real estate. Muhammad Tariq Ghous highlighted that the Saudi group is considering an investment of up to USD 10 billion in Pakistan. The Federal Minister welcomed this interest, emphasizing Pakistan’s investor-friendly policies.



Minister Sheikh reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating investors, emphasizing incentives like tax exemptions in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and streamlined processes through Business Facilitation Centers. He assured that the government is addressing challenges such as energy costs and procedural bottlenecks to improve the investment climate.



The discussion also covered the potential for real estate ventures, including the establishment of Special Technology Zones and a modern shopping mall in Chakwal. The Minister recognized the importance of these projects and encouraged further collaboration in the tourism sector, particularly in promoting Gandhara heritage.



Minister Sheikh concluded by assuring the delegation of continuous support and encouraged ongoing engagement with the BOI to position Pakistan as a preferred investment destination.
