Lahore: English cricketer Sam Billings has set a new benchmark for the Lahore Qalandars by becoming the fastest batsman to score a half-century for the team in the ongoing Pakistan Super League Season 10.

Billings achieved this feat by reaching his fifty in just 19 balls during a match against the Quetta Gladiators. This performance surpasses the previous record held by Umar Akmal, who scored a half-century in 22 balls while playing for the Qalandars in 2016.

The record for the fastest half-century in PSL history, however, remains at 17 balls, jointly held by Asif Ali and Rilee Rossouw.

This new achievement by Billings highlights his significant contribution to the Lahore Qalandars and adds to the competitive spirit of the league.
