Russia and Pakistan Discuss Strategic Stability in Moscow


Moscow: Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov of Russia and Additional Secretary Tahir Hussain Andrabi of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-chaired the 16th meeting of the Russia-Pakistan Consultative Group on Strategic Stability in Moscow on May 18. The meeting focused on international security, global stability, arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation, highlighting the shared perspectives of both nations.



According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides confirmed their intention to continue collaboration and coordination at international forums. The meeting underscored the alignment of Russia and Pakistan’s approaches on numerous strategic issues. The next meeting of the Consultative Group is scheduled to be held in Islamabad next year.
