Rescued Woman Addresses Press in Quetta, Denounces Terrorist Coercion

Quetta: Adeela Baloch, a woman who was previously arrested on charges of being a suicide bomber and subsequently rescued from terrorist elements, publicly thanked the Balochistan government today for her rescue. Speaking at a press conference, she shared her experiences and the circumstances that led to her involvement with the terrorist group.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Adeela, a trained nurse from Turbat, recounted how she was initially tempted by individuals who later took her to the mountains under harsh conditions. It was there she realized her mistake and the severe implications of the path she was on. She emphasized that the decision to engage in such acts was not out of free will but a result of manipulation and blackmail by terrorists.

Adeela strongly dispelled the notion that Baloch women willingly participate in terrorist acts. She described how she and others were exploited and used for the terrorists’ agendas. Expressing relief over her escape, she advised the youth of Balochistan to steer clear of such dangerous influences, warning them of how terrorists cynically use individuals for their own destructive purposes.
