Repatriation of Illegal Foreign Nationals to Afghanistan Proceeds in Dignified Manner


Islamabad, The government has been actively continuing the repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, including Afghans, ensuring their return to their homeland is conducted in a dignified and safe manner. This process has been part of a broader initiative to address the challenges associated with illegal immigration, while respecting the human rights of those involved.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, recent statistics show that over the past four days, 2,505 Afghan nationals have been repatriated, bringing the total number of Afghans who have returned to their country to 489,464. This considerable number highlights the scale of the repatriation efforts and the commitment of the government to manage this issue effectively and humanely.



The initiative reflects the government’s adherence to international standards for the treatment of displaced persons and its cooperation with neighboring countries to ensure a smooth and orderly return of their citizens.
