Quetta: Repatriation of Afghan refugees will proceed according to the federal government’s policy, Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind announced. However, the detailed judgment from the High Court on the matter is still awaited.

During a press conference in Quetta, Rind expressed concerns about security due to the arrival of the Balochistan National Party’s (BNP) long march in the city. Despite two rounds of negotiations with BNP, the talks did not yield a resolution.

Rind emphasized that anti-state speeches will face legal action without prejudice.

Addressing the issue of Mehrang Baloch, Rind clarified that no government delegation has visited her in jail, maintaining that the government’s position remains unchanged.
