PNS ASLAT Strengthens Anti-Piracy Efforts in Arabian Sea


Karachi: Pakistan Navy Ship ASLAT has conducted counter-piracy patrols in the Arabian Sea near the east coast of Somalia. This mission was carried out in support of the Combined Task Force 151 (CTF-151), under the leadership of the Pakistan Navy.



CTF-151, led by the Pakistan Navy, is enhancing its presence in the region to address piracy threats in the Gulf of Aden and off Somalia’s east coast. The task force aims to prevent piracy, armed robbery, and other illegal activities to safeguard critical Sea Lines of Communication.



The deployment of PNS ASLAT demonstrates the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to combating piracy and armed robbery. It also underscores the importance of protecting global maritime commons and maintaining the free flow of maritime trade in the area.



The operation reflects the ongoing efforts to ensure maritime security and stability in one of the world’s busiest maritime regions.
