Quetta, A coordination meeting chaired by Secretary Population Abdullah Khan was held to discuss strategies for enhancing reproductive health and family planning services in Balochistan. The meeting brought together various stakeholders including provincial leaders, health specialists, and international partners.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the discussion focused on promoting a comprehensive reproductive health agenda and the implementation of postpartum family planning across the province. Key health entities like WHO and UNFPA, along with local organizations, pledged to support the Department of Population and Health with resources and expertise to improve maternal and infant health outcomes. The initiatives are aimed at reducing unintended pregnancies and enhancing the overall health services framework in Balochistan.
