Quetta: Owners of motor garages, auto shops, timber depots, and scrap warehouses in Quetta have been issued a directive to relocate their businesses within fifteen days. The local government has designated specific areas for these establishments to move to, aiming to regulate and possibly enhance city planning and safety measures.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the notice, disseminated by the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta, mandates the relocation of these businesses to either Garage Complex Hazar Ganji, Sibi Road, Mustung Road, or Kuchlak Road. The directive emphasizes that failure to comply with this order within the specified timeframe will result in strict actions against the non-compliant businesses.
This move is part of an effort to organize business operations that could otherwise pose safety risks or contribute to congestion within the city’s more populated or central areas. The designated relocation sites are presumably better suited to handle the industrial nature of these businesses, thereby potentially reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall traffic flow in the city.
Business owners are urged to complete their relocations promptly to avoid any legal repercussions. This initiative not only aims at making the city safer and more organized but also helps in ensuring that the businesses operate in zones that are better equipped for their specific needs.
