Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met with Intelligence Officer Mohsin Khalid at the Central Police Office Lahore to commend his achievement in the CSS examination. Khalid, who is currently serving in the Special Branch Punjab, secured the second position nationwide and has been selected for the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).

According to Punjab Police, Khalid’s success is particularly noteworthy given his congenital visual impairment. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem praised Khalid’s dedication and perseverance, emphasizing that his accomplishment is an example of determination and hard work. Kareem also lauded the support and efforts of Khalid’s parents in providing him with quality education and training despite challenging circumstances.

The IG Punjab expressed that Khalid’s achievement brings pride not only to the Police Department but also to the entire province. He advised Khalid to continue understanding his professional responsibilities and to embrace modern practices and ideas in serving the citizenry. Khalid, who joined the Police Department in 2025, was encouraged by Kareem to approach his training with dedication and commitment to better serve the nation in the future.
