Lahore, Following the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Safe Punjab Vision, the Punjab Police, led by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, are intensifying search and combing operations across the province. These operations aim to dismantle the networks of anti-social elements and ensure public safety.
According to Punjab Police, since February 26, a total of 5,770 operations have been carried out, resulting in the questioning of over 183,000 individuals and the arrest of 2,704 suspects. The operations have led to the seizure of numerous firearms and ammunition. Dr. Anwar highlighted the ongoing efforts to target sensitive locations and crackdown on organized crime, with a focus on maintaining law and order and safeguarding citizens from criminal activities.
