Punjab Police Celebrates Culture Day with Traditional Zeal

Lahore: In accordance with the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Police marked Punjab Culture Day 2025 with traditional fervor on Monday. Officers and personnel performed their official duties while donning the traditional Punjabi turban, a symbol of the province’s cultural identity.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, delivered a message underscoring the pride Punjab Police takes in the province’s distinctive traditions and its beautiful culture. He noted that these traditions reflect Punjab’s rich heritage and civilization.

Dr. Anwar highlighted the values of love, peace, brotherhood, unity, and tolerance as defining elements of Punjab’s culture. He reiterated the police force’s commitment to preserving the province’s traditions, heritage, and cultural values.

Security arrangements were emphasized for events associated with Punjab Culture Day, with Dr. Anwar stressing the importance of protecting cultural and historical sites, as well as folk heritage. He assured that Punjab Police stands in solidarity with the people of Punjab in celebrating this day with traditional spirit and enthusiasm.
