LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday condemned the recent terrorist attack in the Mangi Phase III area of Quetta, expressing her strong disapproval of the violence and honoring the police personnel who lost their lives in the incident.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister paid tribute to the police officers who were killed while attempting to thwart the attack. She described their actions as exemplary and acknowledged the significance of their sacrifice. Nawaz extended her condolences to the families of the deceased and expressed wishes for the swift recovery of those injured.
Nawaz emphasized the importance of the ongoing struggle against terrorism, stating that it is a crucial fight for survival. She reiterated that there will be no compromise in efforts to eradicate terrorism. The chief minister acknowledged the sacrifices made by the police personnel, highlighting the collective respect and gratitude of the nation for their service.
