Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari met with the Argentine Ambassador to discuss the enhancement of bilateral relations through cultural initiatives. The dialogue focused on leveraging Punjab’s rich cultural heritage as a means to foster closer ties between the two regions.
According to a statement by Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Azma Bokhari highlighted the unique global recognition of Punjab’s culture and underscored the potential for cross-border cultural collaboration. She expressed optimism about expanding cooperation between Punjab and Argentina in various sectors, with a particular emphasis on cultural exchange.
The Argentine Ambassador acknowledged the international acclaim of Punjab’s cultural and culinary traditions, expressing admiration for their richness. Both representatives agreed to continue efforts to build stronger connections between Punjab and Argentina.
In attendance at the meeting were Punjab Information Secretary Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani, Parliamentary Secretary Shazia Ahmad, and Chairman of the Alhamra Arts Council, Razi Ahmad.
