Karachi, January 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):In pursuance of the decision made during the 24th Board of Directors Meeting of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) held on November 28, 2022 at PSQCA-Complex, Karachi under the Chairmanship of Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan Mr. Agha Hassan Baloch. The Director General, PSQCA Mr. Zainul Abidin visited Hub Liaison Office and discussed to strengthen the Gwadar Office and he told in future PSQCA shall open more cross border offices in Balochistan Province.
The Director General, PSQCA Mr. Zainul Abidin highlighted the trend of increased cross-border trade as an important economic development and issued guidelines for increased responsibility over the PSQCA with regard to new offices, new posts and new concessions and necessary infrastructure. In principle, decisions were made by the board regarding the need to provide facilities. On the other hand, the increasing interest of the Federal Minister for Science and Technology and the decision-making efforts of providing high-quality products to the consumers.
