ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with GWAlpha Tech, the operational branch of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park. This agreement, signed in Islamabad, seeks to establish collaborative efforts in standardization, conformity assessment, and capacity building, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to integrating technological advancements with international standards.

According to Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority, the partnership will provide GWAlpha Tech with access to international standards like ISO, IEC, and ASTM, facilitating compliance in aerospace design and certification. The cooperation will also enable Pakistani experts to engage in global standards committees and participate in international technical forums. Additionally, the agreement outlines plans for joint training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote a culture of compliance.

Dr. Sayeda Zia Batool, Director General of PSQCA, emphasized the importance of the partnership in enhancing Pakistan’s quality infrastructure and global competitiveness. Ms. Ismat Gul Khattak of GWAlpha Tech highlighted the collaboration as a pivotal moment for the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, focusing on accelerating aerospace innovation and meeting international credibility standards.
