Quetta: Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, emphasized the importance of Independence Day as a time for reflection and renewal in his message marking Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day. He spoke about the day as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the nation’s ancestors, particularly Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions, who fought for the creation of a separate state for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Kakar highlighted the historical struggles endured during the Pakistan Movement, noting the perseverance and hardships faced by Muslims to achieve independence. He stressed that maintaining freedom and safeguarding its future is a primary responsibility for all Pakistanis.
Minister Kakar urged the nation to use this day as an opportunity to strengthen unity, peace, and development to ensure a prosperous future for Pakistan. He called on citizens to honor the legacy of their forebears by working towards the stability, integrity, and prosperity of the country, hoping that future generations will continue to benefit from the freedoms won by their ancestors.
