He emphasized the significance of preserving cultural and traditional values and the historical heritage of the Pashtun people.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Malakhil highlighted the unique aspects of Pashtun culture, which include its distinct identity marked by practices that foster love, brotherhood, and tolerance. Malakhil urged the younger generation to actively participate in keeping their cultural heritage alive and to continue passing these values to future generations. This, he stated, would help in presenting the moral values and traditions of the Pashtun nation positively around the world. He further added that all communities residing in Balochistan have their own unique histories and play a crucial role in the development of both the province and the country.
The adviser also reflected on the dynamic nature of culture, noting that as societies evolve, many historical aspects become anecdotal while new values and practices emerge to meet contemporary needs. However, he stressed the importance of events celebrating Pashtun culture as a means to highlight the community’s progressive values and strong traditions of brotherhood, tolerance, and philanthropy.
