Priyanka Gandhi Criticizes BJP Government in Campaign Rally for Haryana Elections

New Delhi: In a forceful address at a campaign rally in Ambala, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government ahead of the Haryana assembly elections scheduled for October 5.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally marked Priyanka Gandhi’s first public appearance in the lead-up to the elections. During her speech, she challenged the BJP’s decade-long rule in Haryana, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises and neglecting the needs of the state’s residents.

Highlighting the rich heritage of Haryana, known for its significant contributions to the nation through its farmers, soldiers, and athletes, Gandhi questioned the BJP’s reciprocation to the people’s sacrifices. She pointedly addressed the issues of unemployment and economic distress that have troubled the state under the current administration, asking the gathered crowd, “How many of you got employment?” Her questions resonated with the audience, eliciting vocal support and chants.

The rally in Ambala is part of a broader effort by the Congress to regain influence in Haryana, emphasizing local issues and the BJP’s governance failures as central themes of their campaign.
