Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly has been lauded by political analysts, diplomats, and academics for effectively highlighting Pakistan’s stance on significant regional and global matters.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, stated that the address successfully conveyed Pakistan’s positions on important issues and represented the sentiments of the Pakistani nation, the Islamic world, and people with deep reverence for the Two Holy Mosques. Muqam specifically commended the Prime Minister for advocating the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Secretary-General of the International Tazeem-e-Haramain Sharifain Council, remarked that the Prime Minister clearly articulated Pakistan’s long-standing views on Palestine, Kashmir, and the protection and sanctity of Saudi Arabia’s holy sites to the international community.

Dr. Shahjehan Syed, former Chairman of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Peshawar, characterized the Prime Minister’s speech as an effective diplomatic communication strategy, offering practical solutions to both regional and global challenges.

Former Ambassador Manzoor-ul-Haq noted that the address thoroughly presented Pakistan’s position on key international and regional issues.
